The We Are Search events, in association with Diginius, are the jewel in the crown of Don’t Panic’s many awards. With six events across North America, Europe, the Middle East and the Pacific, the Search Series provides the perfect opportunity to network and celebrate the achievements of agencies and in-house search teams.
With six fast-paced awards to keep with, it’s only right that we provide an update so you know exactly what’s coming up, what you can be a part of, and where you could be heading in 2024 with your team. Here’s everything you need to know about the We Are Search awards for 2023/24.
The US Search Awards are heading for the bright lights of New York City in October 2023 for the first time. After hosting the awards in Las Vegas for the last 10 years (minus the COVID-19 break), the team have decided to take the prestigious awards to the East Coast for the first time.
The ceremony will be held on Wednesday 18th October 2023 at the amazing Tribeca Rooftop in SoHo, providing guests with views of the Big Apple, outstanding culinary expertise, impeccable service, warm hospitality, and an open bar.
American actor and entertainer, Sarah Schreiber, will host the ceremony after award finalists are treated to a three-course dinner. It’s surely to be an unforgettable evening!
US Search Awards 2022
The MENA Search Awards are making a return to Dubai on Wednesday 22nd November! After a four-year live show hiatus, the awards will be back on UAE soil to celebrate the search successes of the Middle East and North Africa.
British actor and UAE resident, Alana Wallace, will host the awards at the stunning Grand Millennium Business Bay at the heart of Dubai. Stay tuned for the shortlist announcement on 26th October 2023 – it’s going to be an amazing night!

UK Search Awards
We’ll be celebrating the 14th UK Search Awards anniversary on Thursday 30th November, so you know it’s going to be the party of the season! Hugely successful television personality and Channel 4 presenter, Alex Brooker, will host the evening at the Bloomsbury Big Top, one of London’s most unique entertainment venues, the awards will begin with a complimentary drinks reception, followed by a three-course dinner, entertainment, and the award presentation.
But that’s not all! The search party will continue into the early hours with the UK Search Awards after-party taking place at Sway Bar from midnight. This is not a night to be missed!
UK Search Awards 2023
The APAC Search Awards will be hosted live for the first time in January 2024 in Melbourne, Australia! Hosted at Zinc Federation Square, the awards recognise and celebrate the very best in search from across Australia and the Pacific. And there’s still time to enter!
The Early Bird Deadline is 6th October 2023, followed by the Final Entry Deadline on 20th October, and finally, the Extended Entry Deadline on 27th October. You’ve got to be in it to win it!
The European Search Awards are officially open for entries! After an amazing event in Lisbon in May 2023, the European Search Awards have a lot to live up to, but you know our team is going to go above and beyond to make this another day to remember.
Make sure you submit your entries by:
- 16th February 2023 – Early Bird Deadline
- 1st March – Entry Deadline
- 8th March – Extended Entry Deadline
